General:
- The Pelebeauty Website is an online store operated by Pele Beauty Ltd. C.N. 516128899. The site is used for the sale of contact lenses and related optical products, and does not serve as a substitute for an ophthalmologist and/or optometrist.
- It is hereby made clear and agreed as a basic condition for purchasing on the website, that the purchaser of contact lenses on the website has a current prescription for the contact lenses sold on the website, and that he has previous experience with using this type of lenses.
- It is obligatory to perform an eye exam regularly by an ophthalmologist and/or optometrist, as well as care for the eyes and lenses in accordance with the instructions. In the event of any sensitivity, irritation or discomfort of, please remove contact lenses immediately and consult your ophthalmologist and/or optometrist prior to reusing the contact lenses.
- That which is stated in these Terms of Use applies equally to both genders, and the use of masculine pronouns are for convenience purposes only.
Using the contact lenses:
- Contact lenses are a medical product and should therefore be used in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions as they appear in the leaflet inside the package, as well as in accordance with the instructions given to you by the ophthalmologist and/or optometrist you were examined by, and who has provided you with the perscription for the lenses.
- Pele Import, Marketing & Distribution shall not be liable for any damage caused to a consumer or a product as a result of improper use of the product.
Purchasing on the website:
- The right to purchase on the website is given to any Israeli citizen over the age of 18 who is in possession of a valid credit card issued by one of the Israeli credit card companies.
- Purchases on the website shall be made using a credit card issued in Israel by one of the Israeli credit card companies only.
- A prerequisite for making a purchase on the website, is the pre-approved authorization given by the credit card company for the transaction.
- Pele Import, Marketing & Distribution is entitled to condition the supply of the product on the signature of the credit card holder after an identification is made by means of an identification card on the credit card voucher at the time of delivering the product.
- For products which are not contact lenses, the free of charge delivery is conditioned on a minimum purchase amount of 100 NIS.
- When placing an order on the website (by phone or direct order), and after receiving a confirmation on the order, the customer must make sure the details on the order are accurate and complete (lense information, address etc). In the event a discrepancy is found, a representative of the company is to be informed immediately by mail or by phone to: 053-7055053.
- In order to avoid doubt, if a customer had placed an order on the website, but made a mistake in the model and/or in the data of product ordered and as a result the product needs to be replaced, the company may charge a handling fee for replacing the product ordered, and the shipping costs will be at the customer’s expense.
- Exchanging ordered products will be possible only if no use was made with the product, including the opening of the package.
The products offered on the website:
- The products offered for sale on the website are original products only.
- A prerequisite for making a purchase on the website is that the product is available in the company’s stock.
- Should the product not be in stock, despite its appearance on the website, the company will not be obligated to sell and/or supply the product and the customer shall have no grievance and/or claim in this matter.
- In any event of shortage in stock or back-ordering from overseas, the buyer will be informed accordingly by a company representative.
Photos appearing on the website:
- The images presented on the website are for illustration purposes only.
- A prerequisite for making a purchase on the website is that the product is available in the company’s stock.
- At times there may be errors and/or shading differences between the images of the products published on the website and the products actually supplied. In any event of a material difference, the company shall indicate it on the website. Should an unusual and clearly in good faith mistake occur in the product’s description, the business shall not be made liable, and the business will enable the cancellation of the order and the reimbursement of the full amount paid.
- Chages in packaging (such as color, size etc), will not be considered as a material difference, as long as the product itself is the same.
Prices on the website:
- The prices on the website include V.A.T according to law as well as the free of charge delivery by registered mail or courier according to purchase amount.
- Price updates will be made on the webiste from time to time in order to meet competition and supply the consumer with the lowest price possible.
- Should an exceptional and clearly in good faith error occur when typing the price of a certain product, the company shall not be made liable, and will enable the cancellation of the order and the refund of the full amount paid by the consumer.
Delivery schedules:
- We undertake to deliver the goods within 7 business days. (Overseas orders up to 21 business days or as specified by the company’s representative).
- The company shall not be held liable for delays in delivering the product for reasons beyond its control.
- Purchases in an amount not exceeding 100 NIS will be self collected or delivered with an additional payment of 17 NIS for delivery by post.
- In case it is not possible to deliver the product, the company may cancel the sale and refund the customer.
Exchange / Return of goods:
- The product was purchased on the Pele Beauty website
- Exchanging the product will be made possible when the product is in its original packaging and intact, has not been opened or used.
- No exchange / return will be made possible for parameters ordered especially for the customer from abroad.
- As stated above, assuming you have an up-to-date prescription for contact lenses and that you are experienced in wearing contact lenses of the type purchased, no products can be returned due to unsuitability or dissatisfaction.
- Products can be exchanged within one month from the date of purchase.
- The expiration date of the product is at least one year.
Cancellation of a transaction:
The return of a product is made possible according to the law within 14 days from receipt of the product or a discovery document, according to the latest
together with an attached invoice and provided that the product is in oder, intact and in its original packaging, and in accordance with the following conditions:
- The product and packaging are intact, unopened and unused.
- Cancellation of a transaction can be done in one of the following ways: by phone: 053-7055053 , via e-mail: peleliat1@gmail.com
or through the designated link on the website’s home page.
The cancellation message should include a full name, I.D. number and the order number. - The amount paid shall be refunded by crediting the credit card used to make the purchase and in the same manner (installments).
- The amount refunded will be the price of the product less 5% or 100 NIS, whichever is lower including shipping and handling fees.
- The responsibility and payment for delivering the product intact to the company shall apply to the customer.
Nevertheless and in accordance with the company’s sole discretion only, in the event of a change in the eye sight parameters and in the frame
of the usage period intended for the quantity purchased, it will be possible to exchange sound and intact packages with the same product
with different parameters or with a different product.
Privacy:
- Pele Import, Marketing & Distribution undertakes to do the best possible with the means at its disposal to maintain confidentiality of customer details provided at the time of purchase.
- The website is secured to the highest of standards, and therefore meets the strictest security requirements of the credit card companies, and the website servers use an SSL protocol.
- For the improvement of information security , Pele Import, Marketing & Distribution secures credit card information in compliance with the new PCI Standard of the credit card companies in addition to the SSL protocol.
- The actual charge is executed after the encryption and scrambling of the credit card details, and these details are not kept in the website’s system.
Any person performing an action on the website hereby declares he is aware of the Terms of Use and agrees to the conditions stipulated in it, and that he, and/or anyone on his behalf shall have no
claim and/or grievance, be it directly and/or indirectly, against the website owners and/or operators and/or anyone on their behalf.
Use of the website is conditional upon the acceptance of the aforementioned terms, and the purchase itself constitutes approval and full consent to the website’s Terms of Use.
Any legal dispute will be debated in Haifa.
